A birthday Poem I got a long time ago, which I remember made me wonder how much I get caught up in the mediocre trivialities and irrelevant people sometimes and forget most of the time that this world is beautiful in itself and life is a precious gift. – Poem by Chris ( 2011 birthday).
On the way back,
watching the light
run over the hedgerows,
that is the beauty for me,
all the beauty I need.
I almost laughed out loud,
at how simple it all was.
It makes me shiver,
just to remember.
I wished for a life,
slower.
I don’t want for more,
than what I am.
