A lost and taxing long day, a day where lot of things changed in me, and then you have fucking Pearl Jam to rip your heart apart. It is like your heart is cut out from you and someone is stamping on it and the sweet misery flows from the song endlessly.
My new resolution is to revive all my parents old records and also collect and organize all my music – 80s and 90s favorites mainly and also keep a juke box in my blog of my favorite music. VinusJukeBox label in this blog should fetch you the songs if interested.
I knew someone who loved this song, who lost a lover to depression, who could never get over the death of that loved one. I have heard him jamming to this song , singing and weeping, his guitar all wet with tears.
Pledge to not brush off depressive symptoms in people, to learn to empathize rather than trivialize it. Life is a gift, do not let people throw that away, attack the symptoms before it spreads. Hang in there, there is always tomorrow, the storm will pass, there are lot of people life is worth living for.
So here is the song….sea of emotions! This is for you my friend…and for one of the most genuine tears and love I have seen, I almost could see how you kept your lover alive through your music and simply through your eyes, it gave me a lot of faith in people and love, a long time ago. 🙂
