Never meant to be?

Deprived of magical realism, your tears break me
and wind chimes which sang with the dessert winds
weep with us too in agony of a lost dream
The green parrot I become in the wake of the dawn

is weeping like a lost child in a dessert

never to mimick those random women
you were passer bys at the inn, which was us
You did not want the day to end
But it feels like it is ending…
The inn is shattered, the home lost
Like a war zone it weeps
We weep with it
And our loud cries echoes
back at us from those walls
Lamenting the stories
of the failure
It was never meant to be
It was never meant to be

Or it is a beginning
A new beginning
