That grey Silhouette

A paradoxical wave engulfs me
As the grey silhouette of a baby
and the serene mother waves at me
with lost eyes, but hopeful laughter
they stood there far, but closer
It was nothing else, but beauty…

Eyes wet, a tear drop would fall
and as the image blurs out
in the far distance, an imprint
one ends up with a heavy heart
But content with the mere imagery

Its poetic,
Its beauty…
