Long sleek fingers played the magical notes of creativity
She pondered, paused, folded, unfolded and dreamt
Reliving the childhood memories of the art of origami
The “Sadako” peace rally she remembered and sighed
Those anti war slogans and little pluck cards she held
The games she played, that nostalgia of togetherness

It all came back, the remnants of childhood
And sat there smiling at the end result,
Of innocence,
Of origami…
